Course Title: Snap: Pro Photography Basics

Age Range: 12-18
Class Description: Everyone has a camera these days, but how do you make photos that look GOOD? In this course, learners will discover the basics of professional photography, from shot composition to lighting, to staging. Students will use DSLR cameras to take shots, and develop skills to help them do more with the camera they may already own.
Class Objective: Identify tools commonly used in photography. Demonstrate use of cameras, lighting, and photography tools.
Location: Made New Makerspace, 5366 F Street
Dates: Tuesdays at 11:30am, March 8 – April 26
