Course Title: Made Right: The Engineering Design Process

Material Level: Introductory

Age Range: 12-18

Class Description: During this course, learners will discover the seven-step “Engineering Design Process”, a process used by engineers to solve problems and create solutions. Learners will use this process to identify a problem or need, and using the tools in our makerspace, will go about creating an invention to solve the problem.

Class Objective: Identify a problem and follow the seven steps of the engineering design process. Use a multitude of tools to create a solution.

Location: Made New Makerspace, 5366 F Street

Dates: Wednesdays at 1pm, March 9-April 27

Classroom: The Server Room

Cost: $65 Tuition, $25 Materials
