Course Title: Introduction to Computer Programming
Material Level: Introductory
Age Range: 12-18
Class Description: Programming is what makes the world go ‘round, and knowing how to program sets you up for a successful future. Learners in this course will learn some of the history of computer programming, and will be introduced to C, a programming language used today in many fields, including robotics. Using an Arduino microcontroller, learners will write and execute basic programs that can do a multitude of tasks.
Class Objective: Identify a problem and follow the seven steps of the engineering design process and to create a solution.
Location: Made New Makerspace, 5366 F Street
Dates: Thursdays at 11:30am, March 10 – April 28
